I feel that your goals are exactly what you need to be focused on. I'm very proud of you for putting those down in writing. I would like to support you by helping you study for your vocabulary words. We can work together by using the words when we talk to each other. Another idea for helping you improve your writing is to take time every night to write about your day. We can then discuss it.
